Along the droving paths of the Vall de Boí

Visiting the animal shelters of the Vall de Boi, between Romanesque-style churches and summer pastures

Life in the Vall de Boi has always been closely related to livestock herding.
Once the snow has disappeared, the cattle leave the lower valleys, in the middle of spring, and head for the high summer pastures and shelters, following the old, mountain droving paths.
This proposal includes visits to some of the mountain shelters that connect the hamlets of the Vall de Boí to the high-mountain pastures and which will allow you to discover the life and work of its herdsmen.
